The Bike Shop in San Miguel

Roy had discovered an unfamiliar sensation in his handlebars and upon investigation a very important nut had worked itself loose. We saw a Motorcycle Shop with Kawasaki painted on its exterior so we decided to bring it over there. Alberto is an experienced rider and has traveled extensively along Central and Southern America. His sharing was valuable and he directed the KLR riders to double check specific bolts and other items. He did share his bad experience with a BMW which was totally understandable. His had issues that make it frustrating at times to deal with and he shared them and explainied it was a love hate relationship.

Being the only one on a BMW I am accepting I am just different. No better no worse, just different.

...We grew tired of waiting so Chris and I went for a ride looking for some hills and trails and found some but there was not that much that was accessible. It was good to just get out and explore a bit of the surroundings.

We are now gearing up for a trip to the next city...Puebla or Orizaba or somewhere else. From there we are going to head to the base camp of Pico de Orizaba.
