January 2nd, Twenty Ten!

So that is what I am calling it...Twenty Ten....Not Two Thousand and Ten....I don't care what the polls say.

We made it to Eagles Pass which is the border town on the US side. A series of...not necessarily setbacks but instances that created an excess of accumulated moments has come upon us on this day. We had smoking mufflers wrapped with "muffler socks" that created an obnoxious odor and panniers skidding across the highway at 70mph. A quite glorious day. We have thus far gotten what we have come for and we are just beginning. On a more serious note, conversations with locals have been beneficial.
